Sewing has been a lifelong passion for Shawn—so much so that she can’t remember a time when she wasn’t stitching away! Growing up in a home where her mother ran a custom Roman shade business, the hum of a sewing machine became a comforting and familiar sound.

As the manager at Dave's Bernina, Shawn is immersed in the world of sewing every day. Her true passion lies in embroidery—both machine and hand—where creativity knows no bounds! Sewing is her ultimate creative outlet, and she thrives on exploring endless possibilities, constantly learning from every person she meets.

Shawn also deeply values the magic that happens when women come together to share their creativity and passion. With 36 years of marriage, an identical twin, and five amazing children she claims as her own, she brings warmth, experience, and enthusiasm to every project and every interaction.
