Bernina Jeff - Headliner Bio
Jeff is the heart behind Hi Fashion Fabrics and the popular Bernina Jeff YouTube channel. As a second-generation owner of the family business founded in 1965, Jeff brings over five decades of sewing and machine expertise to the table. He grew up surrounded by fabric bolts and the hum of Bernina machines—thanks to his mom, Arlene, a seamstress and trailblazing businesswoman.
After earning a degree in accounting, Jeff left the corporate world to take over the family shop, eventually expanding it into one of the largest fabric stores between St. Louis and California. In 2006, he introduced sewing machine sales and service, combining his mechanical know-how with a passion for helping others.
Whether he's teaching a class, fine-tuning a Bernina, or filming tutorials for his 47,000+ YouTube subscribers, Jeff is dedicated to sharing knowledge and inspiring creativity. His deep understanding of fabric, thread, needles, and machines makes him a trusted resource for sewists of all levels.
